Pakoštane is a small village located in the heart of the Adriatic coast and forms a unique istmus between the sea and Lake Vraña. It is surrounded by 5 national parks (Paklenica, Kornati, Plitvice lakes, Krka, North Velebit). The impressive surroundings offer endless possibilities for everyone. Near Pakoštane you'll find the historic city of Zadar, Biograd n/m and the city of Sibenik, famous for its cathedral of St. Jacob, which is on the UNESCO world heritage list.
There are three small islands directly off the coast, each with its own characteristics. On the island of St. Justin there is a small church. The island of Veliki Školj has a huge cross, and the island of Babluljaš has a small forest. The locals call them faith, hope and love, the three daughters of the Christian spirit.
It is difficult to describe this region in a few words, because there are few places in the world where such a small area has so much diversity. Surrounded by national parks, natural parks and diverse landscapes, this region is a dream for subtle tourist discoverers of great landscapes.
